The German Society of Winnipeg owns and operates Camp Neustadt, a summer campground that is located on the shores of Lake Winnipeg approximately 15 kilometers north of Gimli, off MB-222 N. The camping season typically starts around mid-May and ends mid-October depending on the weather.

Camp Neustadt has close to 200 seasonal sites with water and 30amp RV/20amp GFI electrical service for seasonal campers.  In order to lease a seasonal site at Camp Neustadt the German Society requires that you become a member. 

Registered Guests of seasonal campers (LTU Holders) have access to the casual camping areas split into Basic camping (tenting) located near the beach. Ten (10) Premium RV sites that are equipped with water & 30amp RV/20amp GFI service. 
In 2025 the 10 Premium RV sites were renovated with new gravel parking pads, new electrical services, water connections and come complete with fire pits provided once at the site.

Amenities include the following:
Two public washrooms/showers, volleyball court & playground by the beach, new play structure/picnic area called Kinder Corner, sports field with a baseball diamond. Ease of access to the beach via new precast steps and swale to get your oversized inflatables onto the lake. For group gatherings there is also a building called "The Beer Tent" and is available to seasonal campers and their guests for private and public functions.
